Deodorant

Natural magnesium deodorant is a clean, gentle alternative to traditional deodorants — think fresh pits without the harsh stuff. Instead of aluminum or synthetic fragrances, it uses magnesium (usually magnesium hydroxide) to neutralize odor-causing bacteria, keeping you feeling fresh without clogging your pores.

The texture is typically smooth and creamy, often blended with natural butters (like shea or cocoa) and oils (like coconut or jojoba) for skin-soothing benefits. It’s great for sensitive skin and often scented with essential oils — think lavender, eucalyptus, citrus, or earthy blends — giving it a subtle, non-overpowering aroma.

It won’t stop you from sweating (it’s not an antiperspirant), but it helps you smell good in a more body-friendly, eco-conscious way. Kind of like letting your body do its thing, but with backup.

When switching to a natural deodorant, you may experience a "purge". Body odors may be extra potent while the body is 'detoxing' from an aluminum or other chemical-based product. This stage typically lasts 1-3 weeks while the body's pH balances back out. To help the process- you can try clay mask, exfoliation, ACV, or a charcoal/ACV mask. As difficult a it might feel, give your body time to adjust!

How to use: With a clean utensil or clean hands, scoop out a pea-sized amount and massage into armpit. If you choose to shave, it is recommended to shave at night and apply deodorant in the morning. Some tingling may occur. Discontinue use if you experience burning.
